Trophy Trout Cabin on the White River

Fish the White River's famous trout water from Mullet's Landing, a private gated property of just four cabins beside the Calico Rock Boat Ramp. Local guides launch at the ramp, so dawn starts take minutes, and there's room for your boat trailer at the cabin. Inside: vaulted ceilings, warm wood, three bedrooms (main-floor primary with private bath, a twin room and a loft queen), two full baths and a full kitchen. Evenings belong to the covered porch, the charcoal grill and the fire pit.

Trout fishing and boat access

The White River is known for its rainbow trout and trophy brown trout. The Calico Rock Boat Ramp sits at the entrance to Mullet's Landing, and local guides run trips from it. Bring your own boat (there's room to park the trailer at the cabin) or book a trip with a guide at the ramp.

Guest access

The whole cabin, covered porch, fire pit and yard are yours. Park at the cabin, with room for a boat trailer. Self check-in with a lockbox: we send the code and directions before you arrive. The gated entrance is beside the Calico Rock Boat Ramp, and the cabins sit farther inside the property.

Good to know

  • Riverbanks are steep in places, and the water level changes with dam releases. Take care near the river.
  • Swimming isn't recommended: the water is cold and the current changes quickly.
  • No pets, smoking or events. Check-in after 3 pm, checkout by 11 am. 2-night minimum.
  • Mullet's Landing has four cabins. Groups can book two or three side by side and still have their own space.
  • About 5 minutes to historic downtown Calico Rock and about 25 minutes to Lake Norfork. Mountain View, with Blanchard Springs Caverns and the Ozark Folk Center, is an easy day trip.

"We loved our stay at Daniel's cabin! The setting was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit, star gazing, and proximity to the river (.5 mile from river access). We saw two bald eagles by the river bed on our first night. Daniel was extremely friendly and we had everything we needed for a great weekend. Would stay again!"
